Mother's Day card

After a day working on an application for a graduate position for next year, I NEEDED to do something creative to unwind. I thought this would make a lovely Mother's Day card. I hope my Mum likes it!

I saw a similar design on Marelle Taylor's blog and had a go at my own version. Its hard to see in the photo, but I used the Linen background stamp at the bottom of the card to give it some more interest.
Supplies -
Stamp: Boho backgrounds, Linen (background stamp) and Occasional Greetings (for sentiment)
Cardstock: Sahara Sand, Old Olive, Rose Red Designer Paper, Whisper White
Ink: Rose Red and Old Olive markers, Basic Black, Sahara Sand (for linen background)
Accessories: Hodgepodge, white taffetta ribbon, corner rounder (for scallops), tear ruler, glue dots.

I thought afterwards, it would have also looked nice on River Rock card.

OMG I just LOVE that card Leanne. You made me get out my catalgue & check out that Boho Background. And you know what I don't really like it in the catalogue but on your card its so lovely. Mmmmm to buy or not to buy? That is the question.

this is a gorgeous card leanne....love what you've done and how you've coloured the little flowers with the markers...might give this one a try myself too except I don't have any hodgepodge just yet!
